The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your AXD Global experience. Here are the types of information we gather.

  1. Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, and communicating with you.
  2. Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses axdglobal.com or advertisements and other content served by or on behalf of axdglobal.com on other Web sites.
  3. Mobile: When you download or use apps created by AXD Global or our subsidiaries, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device.   4. E-mail Communications: To help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from axdglobal.com if your computer supports such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers.
  5. Information from Other Sources: We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information that you provide to us through the Web Sites, such as:

    • If you access third-party services (such as Facebook, Google or Twitter) through the Web Sites, or if you access a Web Site via a third-party service, information available about or collected from you on those services;

    • Other navigation data, such as web sites visited and advertisements viewed or clicked on

Please note that all of the information we collect about you may be combined, including to help us tailor our communications to you and to develop rich online content and services across the Web Sites. This privacy policy does not cover the practices of third parties, including those that may disclose information to AXD Global. If we combine information we receive from those other sources with personal information we collect through the Web Sites, we will apply this Privacy Policy to any personal information received, unless we have disclosed otherwise.

In addition to any personal information or other information that you choose to provide to us on the Web Sites, we and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain web site usage information whenever you visit or interact with the Web Sites. This information may include:

  1. Online identifiers including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system;
  2. Unique identifiers, including mobile device identification numbers that can identify the physical location of such devices in accordance with applicable law;
  3. Internet activity information including the page served, the time, web sites you visited before and after visiting the Web Sites, Web pages and advertisements you view and links you click on within the Web Sites;
  4. Information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies;
  5. Information about your interactions with email messages, such as the links clicked on and whether the messages were opened or forwarded; and
  6. Standard server log and device information.

Information collected through these passive means may not directly identify you or may be associated with you. In addition, using your IP address, a customer id number, or some other unique identifier for the particular device you use to access the Internet may be collected. Whenever the information is associated with you, it will be treated as personal information.

We may use this web site usage information, collected by us or third parties, for a variety of purposes including to enhance or otherwise improve the Web Sites.

We only use payment and identity verification information that you provide to us, such as credit or debit card numbers, AXD Global account numbers, contract numbers and invoices, or national identifiers as necessary for completing a particular transaction or fulfilling a service (e.g., payment for advertising services or awarding prizes to contest winners) or as otherwise required by law.

We generally use other information we collect about you to:

  1. Fulfill your requests for products, services, and information, including to send you electronic newsletters, authorize a purchase, and complete a transaction that you have requested;
  2. Enable you to participate in features such as surveys, polls, sweepstakes, and message boards;
  3. Provide you with electronic newsletters, information, special offers and promotional materials on behalf of the Web Sites, companies within our corporate family, and third parties, in accordance with applicable law;
  4. Analyze the use of the Web Sites and information about visitors to the Web Sites to understand and improve our service offerings and, in accordance with our sharing policies discussed below, to produce anonymous or aggregated data and statistics that might help third parties develop their own products and service offerings;
  5. Customize the content you see when you visit the Web Sites;
  6. Develop and provide advertising tailored to your interests;
  7. Prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; and
  8. For any other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your information or pursuant to your consent.

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below and with subsidiaries AXD Global NIG controls that either are subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.

  1. Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control: We work closely with affiliated businesses. In some cases, these businesses sell offerings to you at axdglobal.com. In other cases, we operate stores, sell products or provide services jointly with these businesses. You can tell when a third party is involved in your transactions, and we share customer information related to those transactions with that third party.
  2. Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit/debit card payments, and providing customer service. All terms applicable to the particular promotion will be made available to you at the time you enter the promotion.
  4. Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries, or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that AXD Global NIG, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.
  5. Protection of axdglobal.com and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of axdglobal.com, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.   6. With Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

We are committed to protecting your information. We have adopted commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical procedures to help protect your information from loss, misuse, and alteration. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your credentials (username and password) and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Interest-based ads are sometimes referred to as personalized or targeted ads. We show interest-based ads to display features, products, and services that might be of interest to you. In providing interest-based ads, we follow Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising.

To serve you interest-based ads, we use information such as your interactions with AXD Global sites, content, or services. We do not use information which on its own identifies you, such as name to serve interest-based ads.

We work with third parties, such as advertisers, publishers, social media networks, search engines, ad serving companies, and advertising companies working on their behalf, to improve the relevance of ads we serve. In providing you interest-based ads we do not associate your interactions on unaffiliated sites with information which on its own identifies you, such as name. Advertisers and other third parties may assume that users who interact with or click on an interest-based ad or content are part of the group that the ad or content is directed towards. Some third-parties may provide us pseudonymized information about you (such as demographic information or sites where you have been shown ads) from offline and online sources that we may use to provide you more relevant and useful advertising.

Third party advertisers or advertising companies working on their behalf sometimes use cookies in the process of delivering content, including ads, directly to your browser or device, and they may automatically receive an IP address when this happens. They may also use cookies to measure the effectiveness of their ads, show you more relevant advertising content, and perform services on behalf of AXD Global.

Axdglobal.com gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with axdglobal.com for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information.

  1. As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make subscription payments or to take advantage of such axdglobal.com features as Your Profile, and AXD Global eWallet.
  2. You can add or update certain information on pages such as those referenced in the Which Information Can I Access section. When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
  3. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences from your email and mobile network service providers. (If you do not want to receive Conditions of Use and other legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Notice, those notices will still govern your use of axdglobal.com, and it is your responsibility to review them for changes.)
  4. The Help feature on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.
